Bicycle Path

The Clarence-Rockland Bicycle Path will promote the benefits of cycling as a healthy activity among residents of Clarence-Rockland. It will also give cyclists on the Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail access to a network of local trails that will enable them to discover Clarence-Rockland.

The centerpiece of the first phase of the project is "Le Grand Circuit", a 75-kilometers route on existing gravel and paved roads around Clarence-Rockland.  The route has been chosen to avoid busy roads so that cyclists of all ages can enjoy a leisurely ride through the rural landscape of Clarence-Rockland.

The United Counties of Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail

Winter or summer, you can hike along this 72 kilometers trail, which passes through country landscapes sprinkled with charming little villages, and explore a multitude of natural and historic attractions.  The trail runs along part of the old Montreal-Ottawa railroad corridor line which travels through a veritable treasure chest of pastoral scenery comprised of wood lots, pasture lands, fields of grain ripening in the sun or traced with long, newly turned furrows.
